by Robet KylePeople get confused when greeted with percentages in the media (newspapers, government propaganda etc). We petition the Prime Minister to put in place legislation that bans the use of percentages in the media and insteads forces simple numbers to be used instead. For example:
A 100% increase is misleading when the initial NUMBER is 2 for instance, so we now have 4 BUT the percentage figure hides the complete insignificance of the information put forward.
I can see where this is coming from, and certainly percentages can be used to massively exaggerate risks to the point where the message is nonsense. But, let’s apply this for a moment and see what headlines we get:
This is basically not a good plan.

Seems the governments new ‘taxes’ are centred around ‘climate change’. This subject is a farce and does not exist. We petition the government to dismiss all climate change groups and dismantle all departments that have anything to do with climate change. We also ask that the government stop wasting public money on this subject. In fact STOP wasting any money on it.
Oh, well that’s that then. C’mon lads, let’s dismantle all of those climate research groups. Some guy on the internet says it’s a load of nonsense!

What is interest but an unnecessary evil? The only people who profit from it are the rich.
If there was only £1 in the world and I borrowed it at 8% interest then WHERE do I get the additional 8 pence from? Interest charges are self defeating and cause suffering and poverty whilst benefitting the deceitful and barbaric individuals who ‘invent’ the money.
We as a (once) mighty nation need to stand up to the select few around the world and let them know what we think of their ‘money for/from nothing WITH interest’ ideas. There is NO requirement for interest to exist except to enrich people for doing little/no work and to continue the unnecessary enslavement of millions/billions of people.
I propose that interest be abolished. It would end ‘boom and bust’, rid us of the virus that is ‘inflation’ (devaluation of our currency) and provide each and ever individual the opportunity for TRUE stability in our short lives. Opportunities where we could thrive and accomplish without dragging a ball
You’re an idiot. Abolish interest charges and any incentive for banks and financial institutions to let you borrow their money vanishes instantly. Then nobody will be able to get a loan at all because no bugger’ll offer ‘em.
