It’s Never Lupus

Allow free prescriptions for Lupus sufferers.

I beleive that being a Lupus sufferer along with thousands more we should be able to receive free prescriptions I take 12 medications daily to keep my condition stable & will have to for the rest of my life or until a cure is found Along with thousands of other sufferers I beleive we should be exempt from charges like similar conditions that are exempt

I see petitions like this all the time. “Dear Gordon,” they say, “I have a particular illness, and therefore I think everyone who has the same illness shouldn’t have to pay for their prescriptions even though it’s only about £6 a pop or however much it is now. I mean that’s not a lot of money in the long term but dammit I’m sick and I deserve special treatment.”

I assume you work, Melody. If you didn’t work you’d get your medication for free. If you do work then, well, you can afford £6.50 every now and then.
