Take It Off!

It is criminally irresponsible of our collective governments to allow VAT to be charged on ANY safety equipment. It should never have happened in the first place. It is wrong and should be considered as a form of exploitation. We should not be charged tax on something we should have no choice about using. It is immoral and should be taken up with the European Court of Human Rights if necessary.

Using Marco’s logic, we also shouldn’t be charged VAT on hygiene products, clothing, food, drink, or any form of transportation because we have no choice about using those, either. Idiocy.

Toplessness/Topfreedom is a fundamental women’s right. It is a basic freedom and without it women will always be subjugated and considered to be “lesser” simply because they are censored. Women’s breasts are biologically no more sex organs than are men’s. In principle, women may be as interested in men’s exposed breasts as men are in women’s. Laws and social pressures prohibiting women to be barebreasted are a form of unjust discrimination. Either let both men and women have the right to be topfree, or make the law also cover men.

Breasts may not be “sex organs” but I think it’s safe to say they’ve been sexualised to the point of no return, here. Also: men are perverts. If topless laws were repealed they’d never get any work done. The economy would grind to a halt and we’d all be even more screwed than we are now. You asking for the right to take your top off has brought the 21st century to the very brink of extinction. Gum?
