by Mr Justin LaneYoung people need pride in themselves, respect for their community and country, and need to prove their worth to society.
I propose that school leavers are to be made to choose either National Service or Education (university degree or NVQ in full-time employment).
Education cannot be used as an easy ride and I propose the following solution to combat this:-
If education is chosen and a level of commitment is not being maintained (poor performance) or the level of qualification (degree or employment and NVQ) is not attained by their 22nd birthday then National Service will have to be taken at double the duration had they not taken the education route and elected for National Service in the first instance.

by Hannah Lanenational service should not be for those at the start of their lives but those at the end, and politiians who start unecessary wars that are not for Britain.
“Why die in front of the fire, a warm cup of tea by your side and your favourite program on the telly,” asks Hannah Lane, “When you can get blown up by terrorists in the Middle-East?”
“Because,” cries every old person in the entire fucking Universe, “We’re not fucking stupid.”

by adrian bonningtonEnlist all those on welfare aged 20-30 in British army. Too many people are living on welfare as a career choice – the army will give them discipline and skills.
Are people abusing the benefit system? Yes. That probably means we should be reforming the benefit system rather than throwing everyone who you think is being lazy into the Army. You dick.

by Ms Jacqueline.HannaSurely funding the Pakistani goverment to train and secure their country is enough for Britains involvment in its progress. Please consider bringing our British men home, instead increasing the police force and improving the home office checks on new visitors to our country and re-interviewing those who claimed their passportd within the last 5years should be enough to secure the country within.spend the money inside and for our country.
Yeah. I mean, it’s not like we all live on the same planet, is it? Fuck foreigners.

by John RayIllegal immigrants found entering the country or wanting to enter should be given a choice. 1. They can become citizens of the UK after 10 years of Army service. This would include serving in Afghanistan. 2. Immediate deportation back to their country of origin. These should be the only choices given to these people.
Mr. Ray later went on to say, “I hate foreigners, and basically what I’d like is for them to go out and just kill each other to death.”

The Department for Transport are holding a consultation period before introducing The Merchant Shipping (Prohibition of Smoking on Ships) Regulations which will effectively ban smoking on ships in UK waters. The excuse for this extension of the Health Act 2006 offshore is the usual spurious arguments about exposure to “second hand smoke” etc. The regulations have nothing to do with safety which is already well regulated. Whilst we all know that smoking is not good for us, surely this is a step too far? Ships are not only places of work for seafarers, but also their homes for long periods. Ships are well ventilated and there is no logical reason why a sailor should not be able to smoke in his own cabin without affecting anyone else. You may support this petition for 3 months and until 9 October may register your views directly to the Department, but I’m not allowed to give you the email address. You will find it on the DfT website. Rule Britannia!
You’re right, there is “no logical reason”. I mean, if we ignore the fact that you’re working for the government in a branch of its armed forces where you are required to be in peak physical condition, something that’s sort-of counter to the entire point of cigarettes.

After completion they will stay on the reserve list for a minimum of 4 years, While separating the territorial to volunteer reserves, (which can get sent away on tours as the government pleases), and the reserves who are only needed for a time of a mass conflict.
This should make our army one of the biggest army’s in the world, With it’s reserves reaching over 10 million in 10 years. Which should increase respect for us across the world and match other army’s which is a threat to our free country
