The last Labour government introduced this act out of spite and perceived class hatred. It is not, and never was, anything to do with protecting animals.

Why the contribution is important
This act has been proven to be unworkable.

sepearate scanning areas in the hospital for women who have misscarried, its seems like a sick joke when you have lost your baby to be sent to sit in the maternity block for your scan to confirm the worst! to have to sit in a room full of pregnant women talking about how many weeks/months pregnant they are and weather its a boy/girl even tho you are happy for them it still kills you listening to it and thinking about your baby your never going to meet its terrible! surely women in my situation have felt the same and being in a different part of the hospital would help slightly!

An increasing number of stores are displaying prominent signs at checkouts reading “Under 25? ID Required!!!” or suchlike.

These signs are humiliating and degrading, and effectively brand such persons as second-class citizens.

Whilst we realise that there is a serious problem with underage drinking and knife ownership, signs of this kind are not the solution. In fact they may be exacerbating the problem by creating justifiable anger and resentment in persons of that age-group, who see themselves as being made outcasts from society.

A law is needed, banning any kind of signage in retail outlets which stigmatises certain age-groups.

With the recent charges for internet viewing of the England Football Game, i feel that the government should withdraw all funding that is currently given to the FA due to the fact that they are not being fair to the English people
