We propose for the Prime Minister to ensure images of HM Queen Elizabeth II are allocated at all arrival ports & terminals across the United Kingdom. Let’s show over sea foreigners how proud we are to be British.
Thailand has pictures of their King everywhere, why not show HM the respect she needs in her own country.
God Save The Queen
Bless.
I’m getting pretty bored of the endless petitions demanding some meaningless act be carried out for every last tedious soldier who dies as if they didn’t know that was a possibility when they signed up or as if anyone in the public really thought we’d get through a war without sustaining any military casualties. It’s not respect. It’s patronising and I doubt the families want any of this shit. But here’s another, which has the added bonus of ruining the news.

bbc should make the tradgic deaths of all millitary personell the headline on the news/not following some inane worrys about the weather/or some footballers wife got a new hair doo! have some respect/the familys of the soldiers deserve more as do the soldiers you! send out
I think this guy just has 26 letter keys and one big ‘punctuation lucky dip’ key.
I’ll leave the discussion of this charming little petition in your capable hands, folks:

As a tax payer I fed up seeing my neighbours who don’t work watching their 40″ plasma tv’s, I can’t afford one and I work and pay tax so why should lazy people contributing nothing to the country get more than hard working people. We should force them to work if they don’t work, by building workhouses and then sending them to workhouses.

Renting a property should not be the pain it is at the moment, as a Renter myself I am fed up of Landlords feel that they can dictate how you should use the property that you are paying them handsomely to occupy.
I believe that a landlord should only be able to demand that the property is in the same condition at the end of a tenancy as when the tenancy began. I feel it is unfair that they can impose silly restrictions i.e. No Pets. I feel that this is an infringement of ones human rights, I think that as owning becomes further and further away from the average person the tenant MUST be given more rights and freedom during a tenancy.
But it’s not your property. It’s theirs.

Working in retail can be stressful. This can often be caused by the work load itself but can be made worse when selling age restricted items. Many retailers may find it incredibly intimidating to ask for identification from a member of the public who doesn’t look 18 (for alcohol). I believe that by enforcing a “No ID, No sale” for every member of the public rather than a “No ID, No sale [unless you look over 25]” law would result in much fewer illegal sales to underage youngsters and would limit the number of threatening behavior retailers face also.
Furthermore, I would like to ask the Prime Minister to enforce a law that would ban supervisors and managers from over-ruling a customer assistants decision to refuse sale to a member of the public under age restricted circumstances.
I would suggest that if you’re not willing or able to ask for age verification before selling something to someone that perhaps you’re not cut out for a job in retail.

After being on holiday on the east coast I saw many of these cash machines in family amusements arcades. I saw on many occasions people taking out £100 at a time then going into to the £500 Jackpot area and another arcade offering to cash peoples work cheques. If this is not encouraging gambling I don’t know what is.
One could argue that having ATMs anywhere encourages gambling, because there’s nothing stopping you taking out a wedge of money and then walking, or perhaps driving or catching a bus, to your favourite betting house. So, y’know, might be better to get rid of ATMs altogether.

Speed kills. Speed pollutes. Road damage increases as the 7th power of axle weight and speed. Long distance commuting makes rural property unaffordable. Public transport is side-lined due to the great god CAR. The only exceptions to be Police and Emergency Vehicles.
Surely this will anger the great god CAR?

Parents do not realise the danger of letting children use toilets alone, vulnerable adults, youths and children should be protected when using toilets. Our open, liberal society encourages perverts and paedophiles to use these facilities as meetings, matings and worse rape or abuse children.
Lovely. Just when you think Britain has had enough of the whole “Nanny State” thing, someone like Thomas Bowman comes along and tries to make the Nanny State even Nannier.

and bring back family life
If you want “family life” just keep your family locked in the house on Sundays and play Scrabble or The Game Of Life or something. Alternatively you can let them get on with their lives as if Sunday were any other day of the week. Which, incidentally, it is. You pillock.

Julie Kennedy feels so strongly about dogs on leashes that she’s posted not one but two petitions on the matter:
by Julie Kennedy
Keeping dogs on leads is cruel. Puppies need to run about to enable their bone structure to develop. Every dog expert say that you must let your dog off a lead to release the excess energy that they have. The law is that a dog should be on leash or controlled by voice, this is a fair and perfectly good law. An unexercised dog can become destructive and nasty. To not let a dog of lead is irresponsible.
by Julie Kennedy
Allow dogs off leash and in public parks. Parents with dogs want to take both child and dog in the park. Children like to play with their dogs and where is better in a park or some dark distant out of sight forest.
Hang on, you’ve dithered from “never keep dogs on leashes” to “let dogs off leashes once in a while”. Y’know what’s more irresponsible, though? Letting your fucking dog run off on its own to piss, bark and gnaw on whatever and whoever it wants.

Sunday is supposed to be a day of rest, but workers are increasingly finding that employers are changing contracts which includes Sunday working.
Hey, guys! Guys! Listen to this: “Antony Turd”! Hahahahahahaha! I know, good isn’t it? I just thought of it. It’s funny because he’s a narrow-minded little turd who refuses to lives in the 21st century!
Oh, for fucks sake.

reinstate national conscription as punishment for antisocial behaviour and other serious crimes. people found guilty of serious crimes should be made to pay for their crimes by serving the country.
No. Fuck off. Stop suggesting this.
by Dr Chris Lavers
The United Kingdom claims to protect freedom of religion and freedom of conscience, but this is increasingly being put to the test by various legislation introduced and proposed, including Equality and Diversity legislation, and a proposed Coroners and Justice Bill. Recent cases such as Reigstrar Lillian Ladele, to conduct Civil Partnership Ceremonies (CPCs) and Deputy Registrar Ms Davies in Islington, dropped from her post as Deputy Registrar to receptionist for refusing to work in a way which violated her conscience as a Christian, are in danger of becoming the norm. When orthodox religious opinion on sexual orientation at work and various other ethics, are no longer tolerated by the State in the public and private life of its citizens, and a government fails to see the point of a free speech clause in Bills currently before Parliament that would protect those who hold such views, all citizens everywhere should be alarmed. Everyone who cares about true freedom and open democracy, one with a diversity of opinions in society should be extremely concerned by the way our society is being led without public concensus.
If you refuse to do the job you’re being paid for, you’re going to get sacked. C’mon, Chris. You’re a fucking doctor. I expected more from you.

this is to get mmore people involved in their country, and their political system, get the right people into power, it will give a fairer out look on how the country as a whole feels about the main political parties.
Once again another freedom-loving Briton wants to see you express your freedom of choice by removing your freedom to choose not to choose.
Alternative joke: Presumably then everybody would vote for the political party that promises to remove the mandatory vote requirement, then.

Scrap the £25 V5 charge. I find I have to pay £25 because I have just bought a second hand car that had a personal numberplate by its last owner. I am informed by the DVLA that the only way not to pay this is, is to produce the bottom of of a V5 document in its new registration, this has not been issued, utill £25 is paid for its issue. This is just a hidden tax.
Or maybe you just don’t want to pay it.

Dear P.M.
I just saw a video for a pop song that glamorized a girl poisoning her boyfriend. What sort of messages are they pedalling to kids these days?
My point is that people of an impressionable age, which is a large part of mainstream T.V. and music following, Should not be fed this type of ‘entertainment’ Many themes in these videos/advertisements are entirely adult. There is even a scene in a current pop video video where lady gaga is suggestively being hanged…..since when was suicide entertainment in ANY form? I am absolutely appalled at the bad taste.
I’m not convinced there is a need for this type of entertainment. This isn’t what I want a child having access to in the middle of the day on a Saturday which I have witnessed. There’s other ways of portraying talent.
Have people been so desensitized to what is actually being injected into the public psyche?
I feel this is a matter of urgency, what will be on television next?
Censorship laws must be reviewed.
Please sign this petition and give innocence back to our youth.
Don’t worry. Kids won’t see it anyway – they’re far too busy playing violent videogames.
These lovely people hold the opinion that everybody in the UK has the right to be heard, so they’d better use it OR ELSE!

All people must have the right to live a life free from hurt and harm. We must be allowed to live our lives as we wish, doing no direct harm to others, without interference from or by any employee of the state. All employees of the people, be they State, central or local must be subject to a penalty, more severe than that for a citizen, for abusing powers promolgated or delegated by law.

The latest 28% voter turnout in the English and European elections is disgraceful. How can 28% determine how the whole electorate wants to be governed.
by Danielle Watson
Its time for the goverment to reward those who pay taxes and work hard not for those who are bone idle and cant be bothered to work. It infuriates me that as a single full time working mother to a young infant that I cannot receive help from the government, by the time I have paid all my bills and nursery fees I am left with the equivalent of what someone on jobseekers receives-so why should they get all the extra perks and help, why should we be penalised for working. It frustrates me that there are so many women out there that use their child as an excuse to not work, whereas I want to build a better future for me and my child and I believe that me working and having a good career will provide her the best future possible. Single working parents miss quality time with their children and working can add to the stress. There are more incentives for a single parent to not work at the moment and it makes no logical sense, we are not asking for our moats to be cleaned or £18,000 bookshelves, we are not trying to claim for second mortgage, we work to provide a better future for our children we dont expect everything on a plate otherwise we wouldnt be working in the first place. Reward those who deserve it.
So your argument here is that single parents who are earning should get financial aid from the Government instead of people who don’t have any money, because the single parents who are earning are earning, unlike the ones who aren’t earning, who aren’t. I know that the benefit system in the UK is a little skewed at the moment but this’d be… well, even more stupid.

Bring back compolsary national service to whoever leaves school with no GCSE’s. This will make children pay more attention in school and create more of a goal for there GCSE’S. Also it shall increase the man power of the armed forces. And create many jobs in the nation in these bad times. Also it will bring more respect for this nation for the next generation. If the child wishes to join the armed forces after school anyway he can go to a army college from the the age of 14 full time instead of school. With there parents permission.
Ah, the wonderfully dicky “compulsory service” suggestion resurfaces once again. Do fall in a well and die, will you? Jolly good.

ostmortems should be stopped. as a muslim we believe that the deceased can still hear and feel everything..this is a disgusting act that mocks are faith. i strongly believe that postmortems should be banned and the law should have a minimum understanding of religion. i find it very disrespectful and it hurts me greatly to think that even when a death is of an obvious reason, postmortems are still carried out. myself being a british citizen is terrified to die in this country due to what the law requires on the deceased. i understand that postmortems take place to determine the cause of death. in some cases postmortems do come of an help but if the deceased wishes not to have a postmortem carried out, these wishes should strongly be respected. please take my views..and the same views of millions across the country and consider making postmortems optional.myself and many others believe the decision should be left with the family of the deceased whether or not the postmortem should be carried out.
“The will states that we cannot determine Zainab Gelu’s cause of death.”
“But Zainab Gelu was brutally murdered by a ban wearing a shark costume! We have DNA evidence! We need to check the body!”
“Sorry, it was his wish that his body remain undisturbed.”
“Oh, darn the luck! Darn!“

All persons looking after animals (both commercial and domestic) should be required to sit an exam to demonstrate they have sufficient knowledge of the animals in their charge to be able to look after them properly and to be responsible guardians.
The exams should be aimed at ensuring adequate care, not ensuring that particular groups can have particular pets e.g. 7 year old having small rodents. The exams should be relevant to the animal types concerned and the cost of the exam relative to the degree of knowledge required to be tested.
…and people who fail the exam will have to make do with having kids like everybody else.

I propose that a national register of dogs is set up with mandatory registration for all dogs owned in the UK, and DNA records kept on all dogs. The purpose of this would be to prevent owners from allowing their dogs to foul in public places and not pick up the mess left behind by their pets. Environmental departments of the councils of the UK would have the power to take samples of dog mess left in public places for DNA testing and then issue fines to owners. Spot checks would also need to be carried out by vets and environmental wardens to ensure that dog owners had registered their dogs and had the appropriate paperwork in place.
Really? That’s what you want to spend tax payers’ money on? Doing DNA analysis of random bits of dog shit found in parks and on the pavement? Honestly, I expect better of a Saturn Award winning actress.

As an equal rights country we should have rights to Holidays for religious days for all religions for example Eid and Diwali etc. There was a time when the police force had no blacks or asains but now there are many and actually want more. i think this partition is all fair for all who live here expecially those who were born here. For example a muslim born in britain should have rights to a holiday for his/her religious celebration, its ok for him to pay council tax, income tax national insurance etc but he doesnt get his rights as a british citizen. This is possible we know that and the government knows that and hopefully this will happen. Tust like the police force eventually accepted asains and blacks so will its government. All races all religions lets make this happen lets all have a annual holiday on our religious days. (Ammen…. Ameen… inshallah…..Hopefully with the will of god……)
Yes. Every religion. Including Shazanity, the online religion that anyone can edit.

Since the 1960’s our society has murdered 6,000,000 unwanted children in their mother’s wombs. This is a modern day holocaust. Unless we speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves then millions more will die. Women have many rights but they do not have the right to take an unwanted life. There are extreme cases when it is better that the baby die in order that the mother live, but the vast majority of the reasons for abortion are supposed social reasons. In reality it is people’s selfishness and rebelliousness. No society is free that murders it’s own children in its mother’s wombs.
No, “in reality” it’s you deciding that everybody should have your personal set of moral “standards” – namely that people ill-equipped to handle a baby should be forced to care for their unwanted accident and grow up in a home where they’re unloved. Or, alternatively, be placed into adoption and always have the question of why they weren’t good enough for their birth mother nagging them at the back of their head. You are, like most militant pro-life (anti-choice) campaigners, a careless, selfish shitcock.

Britannia no longer features on any new coin from 2008, yet Britannia has featured on our coinage since the time of Charles II. A representation of Britannia appeared on the coinage of the Roman emperors Hadrian and Antoninus Pius. For as long as we have an independent currency, let Britannia be seen on our coinage.
Why?

In light of increases in youth violence we request that the House changes the law to make parents/guardians fully responsible for the actions and behaviours of their children. Parents and their children should be held jointly accountable and be jointly punished for any illegal activity or unsociable behaviour conducted by a child under the age of 16 years.
We’ve gone over this. It’s bloody stupid to attribute the free will of one individual to another, regardless of age. Sometimes a Rebellious Teen is just a Rebellious Teen.

With rape increasing, averaging 167 women per day in the UK, I think it is about time that all women were provided with a source of protection against an attacker. For example a personal attack alarm which releases an ear piercing alarm, when activated, which can be heard half a mile away. They are inexpensive and may just put some attackers off. Even if Mr Brown would not provide them for free, if they could be advertised better and offered at an affordable price for all women. Or any other form of protection for women which would be suitable.
Many thanks
Louise clearly doesn’t want to spend £8 on a personal alarm.
Edit: And on a similar note…

Women are spending their money on somehting that cannot be avoided. Contraception can be obtained via the NHS, but the simplest form of contraception is to not have intercourse at all. Mentruation is an unavoidable consequence and so the products that cater for it should be free.
