Women take up more nhs resources than men, live longer and draw more pension than men; therefore they should pay higher national insurance than men.

This seems fair.

If they didn’t want the extra expense they should have just been men like me and Mr Ed did, although in his case it’s technically called a stallion.

Michelle reckons:

This fellow’s sentiment is interesting considering how it is in America. I had to start paying for my own health insurance by my early 20s, but enjoyed a relatively low rate because I was a woman and didn’t smoke. Since women live longer, it makes sense that they get charged less because they have less expensive complications in their youth (so this is being rewarded much like auto insurance is cheaper for safe drivers) plus since they live longer they make up the difference by continuing to pay for health insurance an extra 5-10 years or so.

It’d be amusing to see the reaction to this man’s petition if it got any support. I’m sure women would love to know that they are being punished for living longer, having to pay out more money AND for a longer period of time.
