With such a growing problem with Alchol and Crime, would it not make sense to have the Goverment control Alchol sales by taking it away from the Supermarkets and corner stores. If the Goverment took control by opening Goverment controled stores where it would be impossible for under aged persons to buy and stop all this cheap Alchol that encourages people to drink more.

State-controlled alcohol? That’s a new one.

I believe this happens in parts of Scandinavia. I don’t know if it works even remotely, although I suppose they could raise money by just increasing the prices without having to mention it and piss people off during the budget.
