Don’t Mind Doing It For The Kids

I think its so mean expecting parents to buy all the fancy things kids want on top of the things they need. 12-15 year olds talents are completely wasted. They could quite easily stack shelves or label products or hang clothes on rails, and would be more than happy to work for the minimum wage. These kids need something to do to get them off the streets, and some idea of what work is like when having a nice home depends on it.

Awww, diddums.

dRustvold reckons:

They could go to school, so they could have jobs later in life that don’t end up with the horrible jobs you’ve described.

Teri reckons:

Children under 16 can work already but they must do so with a parent present. I’m sure parents would *love* to give up some of their time to watch their kids work.
